Emma Pallant & Her Triathlon Aero Easyfit by BikeBoxAlan
Born in Surrey UK, Emma Pallant was a European cross country champion as well as a world class middle distance athlete, running qualifying times for both the Beijing & London Olympics, on track. However, at the age of 22 Emma suffered from a knee injury resulting in her having to change paths slightly. So, taking a break from being a long and middle distance GB athlete, she gave triathlon a go.
Emma won IM70.3 UK, finishing on the podium at 6 x IM70.3 distance events. Emma even extended her world title Duathlon, not to mention winning another 6 short distance triathlon events. 2016 was a great year for her. A year later, Emma went on to take the Vice-World title in Chattanooga.
At the age of 30, Emma has become a major figure in one of the toughest disciplines in sport. An ‘elite Ironman’ athlete, twice ITU duathlon and aquathon world champion, and trained for up to 8 hours a day in preparation for the half marathon triathlon world championship, held in Nice in September 2019.
Earlier on this year Emma visited Prague to join the Race Week at Challenge Prague Triathlon. Back in 2017 there were 1,000 triathletes that participated in this race making it the biggest triathlon race in the Czech Republic.
Our Triathlon Aero Easyfit bike box went with Emma on her journey to Prague. This is our newest edition to the BikeBoxAlan family and it’s one of the biggest bike boxes available anywhere. ‘I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the bike box we picked up in London today and traveled to Prague with. I’ve already got people asking me questions in reply to my posts about how it fits my BMC TT in and the answer is – super well!’ – Emma Pallant
