Please read the terms and conditions carefully before using the web site.
These terms and conditions apply to all visits to the web site and anyone buying Bikebox Alan products.
By accessing this web site by computer or electronic device you signify your consent that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of the term and conditions at any time. Please check the conditions periodically for any alterations.
7 Year Warranty
The warranty covers faulty parts and faulty manufacturing for 7 years for personal use.
Exceptions include:
- Caster wheel tyres / cuts (unless reported on initial delivery) is not covered under warranty.
- Negligence by the airlines or other third parties. It is always good practice to check the box and contents for signs of damage on receipt from the airline or courier. Any damage should be reported immediately to the appropriate authorities so that a claim can be made against their negligence.
Caster wheel chassis’ are covered provided all other relevant conditions are complied with.
Original receipt must be provided.
The 7 year warranty is for non-commercial use of the Bike Box. Approved hire companies receive a 2 year warranty. Individuals lending their box to friends/associates will be deemed to be using the box commercially and not for the purpose it was intended. Any such claims will be covered on the 2 year commercial warranty. However, Bikebox alan do invite any purchaser of the bikebox to contact us, even if damage has occurred outside our warranty, as any claims will always be looked upon favourably.
The warranty is not transferable to other parties and a purchase receipt must be shown.
Returns policy
If a product is found to be defective Bikebox Alan will replace the product or provide a complete refund, including any delivery costs.
If a product is NOT found to be defective Returns are at customer’s own cost. Also the original shipping cost and any personalised stickers are non refundable.
Customers are reminded about good practice for accepting deliveries.
Check goods thoroughly on arrival or sign as not checked on the delivery note. In the unlikely event of any damage you must report any issues within 48 hours of the product being delivered.
No Returns available for used or second bikeboxes or sale items.

Bike Box Alan has a proud record of dispatching 99% of our orders as promised.
We partner with the very best of couriers – Fedex and Royal Mail who offer very a reliable service.
However, because of global complications from Covid19, high volumes of shipments, severe weather and Brexit their reliability to deliver on time has been affected. Therefore, all deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive within the normal time frames and as a consequence Bike Box Alan is powerless in these circumstances. Shipping costs are non-refundable if the order arrives later than expected.
We strongly recommend to order in plenty of time for all orders allow more workings day for it to arrive than normal.
By placing an order in the knowledge of the aforementioned courier problems, you are removing you right to cancel the order after it has been dispatched. You are within your rights to return the bikebox, but this is at your own expense and must be returned in the cardboard box it was delivered in unused. Once we receive the bikebox back and check it’s condition we will refund you the cost of the bikebox (not the cost of the original shipping or any costs incurred eg customs duty, return courier charge).
Please contact us if you have any questions about a time sensitive delivery date, we will do everything in our power to dispatch the order as soon as possible.

Product Orders
All orders placed on the Site are subject to acceptance of Bikebox Alan. This means that Bikebox Alan may refuse to accept or may cancel any order, whether or not the order has been confirmed, for any or no reason, and without liability to you or anyone else. If your credit card has already been charged for an order that is later cancelled, Bikebox Alan will issue a refund.
