With BikeBox Alan, bikes are protected by a hard plastic shell which comes with an anti-crush pole. Inside, foam sheets provide cushioning, and internal straps do a great job of securing the bike.
Wheels are secured by sticking the quick releases through the side of the box. Four wheels make it easy to transport, though this would be improved with a leash or the rotating wheels being at the taller end of the box. There was enough space to just fit our tester’s 57cm bike without adjusting the seat height, but the bar needed removing to fit.
For those looking to add some customisation, exterior stickers can be added with names, logos and other graphics available.
