Hannah Cockroft With Her Invictus Racing Wheelchair Bike Box

Racing Wheelchair Bike Box – Seven-time Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft holds world records for the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, 800 metres and 1500 metres in her classification and the Paralympic records at 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and 800 metres. At the Summer Paralympics in 2012 she won two gold medals and a further three gold medals at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro

Hannah was introduced to para-sport ages just 12 years old when the Cardinals wheelchair basketball team performed at her school and she went on to play for the Cardinals for six years before being introduced to wheelchair racing. She competed for Yorkshire and was invited to try wheelchair racing at a British Athletics talent ID day. Hannah debuted in the 2012 London Paralympics where she took the world by storm, winning the T34 100m and 200m which also set two new Paralympic records.

The following year Hannah received a well deserved MBE.
