Hannah was introduced to para-sport ages just 12 years old when the Cardinals wheelchair basketball team performed at her school and she went on to play for the Cardinals for six years before being introduced to wheelchair racing. She competed for Yorkshire and was invited to try wheelchair racing at a British Athletics talent ID day. Hannah debuted in the 2012 London Paralympics where she took the world by storm, winning the T34 100m and 200m which also set two new Paralympic records.
The following year Hannah received a well deserved MBE.
