The INVICTUS is our latest Bike Box. It has been designed exclusively for Racing Wheelchairs.

Underpinning the unique design, is its aesthetics, the beautifully sculptured almost aerodynamic lines of the INVICTUS, are sure to evoke admirable glances wherever it is seen, that may be at Race meetings, hotel receptions or at the check in queue at an airport.

Ultimate Protection

The specially formulated hard plastic shell has a unique central overlapping section to provide extra protection. Cushioned Velcro straps minimize lateral and up and down movement of the Racing wheelchair within the bikebox.

Speed of packing and the functionality of the Invictus will revolutionize the transportation of a Racing wheelchair, whether it is by aeroplane, train or car. And at the same time give the travelling Para Athlete an extra layer of independence.

Generally all that is required is for you to remove all three wheels, deflate tyres and remove the foot rest (if fitted).

The Invictus Bike Box has our market leading 7 Year warranty and is the first commercially available bike box for a Racing wheelchair. It inherits the same DNA as its Multi award winning Bike Box Alan cousin, the Premium.

The Concept

In my early investigations into the feasibility of such a box, it became clear that Para athletes had a very limited choice in how to transport their Racing Wheelchair abroad safely.

Previously, the Para Athlete was limited to a range of improvisations, such as non-wheel able Surf board bags or heavy D.I.Y. plywood bike boxes, which only offered limited protection.

The INVICTUS Bike Box, we hope, will make the whole travelling experience a little less stressful, with a host of design features like –

  • some race kit.
  • can be stood on its end to make access to Airport and Hotel lifts much easier.
  • Can to be towed behind a wheelchair.
  • Integrated luggage rack with 2 anchor  points
  • Luggage platform with anchor points to secure that extra loose bag or even our double wheel box, (for the time when you want to take that extra pair of rear wheels).
  • Velcro straps to secure tools.

It’s even got a cup holder for that precious hit of caffeine!
