Bike Box Alan is proud to announce the impending launch of the latest addition to our range – The INVICTUS RACING WHEELCHAIR TRAVEL BOX.
The Invictus has been designed exclusively for racing wheel chairs. Underpinning the unique design is its aesthetics. The beautifully sculptured, almost aerodynamic lines are sure to evoke admirable glances wherever it is seen whether that be at race meetings, hotel receptions or at the check-in queue at the airport.

THE CONCEPT
In early investigations into the feasibility of such a box, it became clear that para athletes had a very limited choice in how to transport their racing wheelchair abroad safely.
Previously, the para athlete was limited to a range of improvisations, such as surf board bags or heavy D.I.Y. plywood bike boxes which only offered limited protection. These often clumsy pieces of baggage then had to be carried around airports along with separate bags for wheels, general luggage and a cabin bag. Not an easy undertaking!
This culminates in a massive logistical exercise. In some instances the para athlete has the enormous task of doing all of this while operating his or her regular wheelchair.
The INVICTUS racing wheelchair travel case, we hope, will make the whole travelling experience a little less stressful with a host of design features like being able to carry your wheels inside the box, to being able to stand the box on its end which will facilitate access to airport and hotel lifts. Added to that, the ability to be towed behind a wheelchair, a luggage platform to secure that extra loose bag and even a cup holder for that precious hit of caffeine!
OUR HISTORY
Bike box Alan continues to be at the forefront of innovation. We invented the anti crush pole and was the first to pioneer the use of Velcro straps within the bike box for all of those loose components.
Bike Box Alan was the first to introduce transferable GPS tracking technology into our bike boxes and for the bike.
Next, came the highly acclaimed Triathlon Aero Easyfit bike box, the fastest, safest and simplest bike box to load. Generally just the wheels and pedals need to be removed.
The Triathlon Aero Easyfit bike box has revolutionised bike transportation by being the first and only bike box that you can leave complicated TT and road bike handlebars fully assembled, meaning that bikes can be loaded in as little as 6 minutes!
So, you can rest assured that the same meticulous attention to detail has been invested in our new Invictus racing wheelchair travel case.
The Invictus racing wheelchair travel box is due to launch in March 2021 so please keep an eye on our website for further details or if you have any pre-launch details please feel free to contact us.
